Privacy statement

The Next Digitals and privacy

We are an equal partner to everyone we work with. Whether you are a customer, supplier or Next Digital: trust is the starting point. How we handle personal data is part of that. Through its website and other services, The Next Digitals collects data from you. We believe that protecting your personal data is important. And that you are always in charge of your data.

Why do we actually need your data?

The Next Digitals collects and processes personal data because:

  • We want to help you the best we can with our services. We want to be able to send quotes and invoices, and ask you how satisfied you are with us.
  • We want to answer your questions properly.
  • We like to keep you informed about developments in the market. And because we want to invite you to relation events that are of interest to you.
  • We want to judge you as a (future) colleague on your professionalism, or because we want to keep in touch with you with a view to work. And of course because we share information openly and transparently as colleagues.
  • We want to keep improving our processes, services and products. Analyses and market research help us to do this.
  • We want to buy products or services from you.

When do we collect your data?

We collect your data when you enter or leave it on our website, or otherwise register to use our services.

We may collect data from you through (social) media to approach you directly or in the future to work with us.

What data do we collect?

Some examples of data we process:

First name and surname
We like to call you by your name.
Company name
We may have helped your organisation before. Or we are already working for colleagues of yours. That way we can make connections.
E-mail adress
We are happy to share substantive developments with you and invite you to interesting events.
Phone number
We like to talk to you in person from time to time, often starting with a telephone conversation.
IP address
To better understand your preferences, we link your IP address to your name. We remember your interests and send you appropriate information.
Contact history
When did we visit, call or email you? We store all this so that you get the right attention from us. Not too much, but not too little either.
Pageviews
There is a lot of information and expertise on our website. We record how long and which page you look at. This allows us to help you in a more targeted way.
(Un)subscribes
Not interested? Then of course we will store that neatly.
Click behaviour
You can subscribe to various newsletters. For the content of personal newsletters, we keep track of what you have read and what you find interesting. Then we know approximately what you like. Of course, we always handle your data properly. Prefer no more newsletters? You can unsubscribe at any time.

A website tailored to you

To ensure that we can tailor our website to you, we use cookies for Google Analytics. With the help of the information that Google stores from our visitors and reports to us, we can ensure that you can use the website more and more easily. All this information is, of course, secure. This is because Google never links the data to your IP address and only shares it if they have to by law. So they do not use this data to sell you anything, for example.

Would you rather disable cookies? You can do so via your browser settings. You could even disable Google Analytics completely via a plugin. However, this means that you will no longer be able to use all the features on this website.

How long do we keep your data?

Never longer than necessary! If we no longer need your data, we will delete it immediately.

Sharing with others

We share your personal data with others only when necessary for the performance of our services. To protect your data, we enter into (processor) agreements with these parties to ensure that all personal data remain secure.

Is your data safe with us?

Fair question. We consider this very important ourselves. Our systems all meet strict security requirements. Systems we use include AE-Finance for our accounting, Hubspot for our sales and marketing activities.

Viewing and changing your data

Want to see your data? You can. Email info@thenextdigitals.nl and we will make an appointment at our office in The Hague. Please do bring your passport so that we can identify you. During this visit, you can correct, supplement, delete and/or protect your own personal data. Of course, we want to continue to comply with all legal obligations.

Technical support and cookies

If you are known to us, we also collect information about the use of our website. We use various techniques for this purpose, such as functional and analytical cookies. Prefer not to? You can opt out of cookies by configuring your internet browser to stop storing cookies.

Amending the privacy statement

We cannot see into the future. This privacy statement may therefore change from time to time. You will always find the most up-to-date version on this page.
